LOCATION
I am currently working at a studio called Electric Snake Tattoo. It is situated in Billericay High Street (The Police station end not the train station end).
I recently made the change & moved here due to wanting a change up of environment. After closing ABLA, I felt very in limbo with my career & knew I needed a shake up. I have previously worked with the 3 owners of ES & knew I felt very welcome there & like I could be myself so after 5 years of working in Rayleigh at my own studio, I knew I had to move.
The studio is extremely welcoming & has so much art for you all to look at whilst being tattooed.

Sunday- Monday: CLOSED
Tuesday-Saturday: 10:00-18:00
*If your appointment is outside of these opening hours, don't be alarmed, artist's occasionally book clients outside of working hours.
ACCESSIBILITY
- The studio is wheelchair accessible through the front door & is located on a ground floor aswell as the WC being on the ground floor.
- The front desk & waiting area is large & open with no obstacles.
- There is a row of cinema folding chairs in the reception area so these can stay folded if they aren't required.
TATTOO SPACE:
- The studio is large & open with no obstacles & all of the tattoo furniture is on wheels and can be moved wherever required.
- There are privacy screens available. Equally, if you would prefer to be in the studio with me completely alone for any reason, please reach out and let me know & this is something I could potentially arrange for the right reason.
- Depending on the area you're being tattooed, I may be able to tattoo you in your own wheelchair, provided that the brakes are working well & the chair has limited movement/give. This will depend on the location of your tattoo & will need to be discussed beforehand for me to assess if this is something that will work for us both.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
- There is air conditioning & heating.
-There are two bathrooms, with sanitary products provided in both. The hand dryers are quite loud for those with sensory issues- sorry!
-The studio uses daily wax melts which disperse evely & are never too strongly scented.
The cleaing materials used in the shop are also not strongly scented and all smells disperse by the time the shop opens barring if artists clean their stations through the day for a short period of time. If this is bothering you please do let me know and we can go outside for a short period until it dissipates.
- I use Dettol and Alcohol on the skin to prep you for your tattoo & butterluxe products throughout, the fragrance can vary & usually isn't overpowering for the client- it's more for me where I'm so close to the skin.
Feel free to bring fidget toys, headphones, sensory aids and any other comfort items with you- but please be aware that some movement may be restricted whilst tattooing you as we want a nice neat tattoo :)
- On rare occasions, dogs will visit the shop. They are always well behaved & friendly, but prior to your appointment please let me know if you're uncomfortable with dogs so the studio can make adjustments.
